They are quarried at the Paggaio mountain and are also called “angled-hammer-hewn”. With a thickness from 2.5 to 4 cm , they are gray coloured and the various shades thereof .
They are processed one-by-one individually, by hewing by hand and hammer. They can be placed directly into the soil, as well as cement . Uses have included patios, courtyards , gardens , squares , etc.
